Bulk Delete via User Scan
The Bulk delete via User Scan feature will allow you to remove multiple users at once. It offers a comprehensive list of users within your Jira group, allowing easy selection through search by Name or Email and search by JIRA Groups. This streamlined process ensures efficient management as you can swiftly choose and delete users according to your preferences.
Follow the steps below to select and delete multiple users at once:
Step 1: Click on the User Scan tab. The existing users list will appear on the screen.
By default, the Users List displays all users across your Jira groups.
Step 2: Select the users from the list to delete by selecting the checkbox.
OR
Select users by searching with their Name or Email address.
OR
Select the users by filtering the JIRA groups.
Step 3: After selecting the users, click on the Delete Selected Users button.
A confirmation window will pop up for the Admin before the deletion process is initiated.
Step 4: Click on the ‘Yes, Proceed' button to continue the deletion process or click on the Cancel button to abort the deletion process.
After completing the deletion process, the status page window will appear.
Verify the status column to see the list of IN PROGRESS and COMPLETED statuses of the deletion process.
Step 5: Click the Job ID to review all details related to that particular deletion job.
Step 6: Review the detailed window to verify which users were successfully deleted and which failed. For any failed entries, refer to the Remarks column to understand the reason for the failure.
Use the Search User field to check the deletion status of a specific user.
