Makino || User Manual Documentation

1.Introduction

Makino Utility is the project replication app. We have a predefined template with all issues, subtasks, attachments, issue links and custom fields. We need to create a new project based on this pre-defined template. All configurations like notification scheme, fields and screen scheme, workflow scheme all will be copied from Template project to newly creating projects.

2.Steps to Create the Project using template

Step 1: Click on Makino Utility

Contract Review Process

Step 2: Enter the project Details

Select the Contract Review Template : Select the Source project based on which the new project needs to be created.

Select the Issue type : By default it will be “Contract Review

Enter Destination Project Name : Enter the New project name which needs to be created.

Enter Destination Project Key : Enter the project key

Web link : Enter the SharePoint link

Note: These fields are mandatory fields

Step 3: Enter the custom field values

Step 4: If any Mandatory field is missing while clicking on create project, flag message will show like this.

Step 5: If all fields are entered then there will be a success message we will be getting

Step 6: We will be able to see the project got created in the project list, with all the data from source template

Order Management Process

Step 1: Click on Order Management

Step 2: Enter the details

Select the project template : Select the order management template based on which the issues need to created.

Select the Issue type : By default it will be Stock MC w/ Options

Select the Target Project : Search for the project, Select the New Project which is created through the contract review process

Step 3: We can add the custom fields and update the values in stock machine issues

Example: For instance if the Contract Review is run, then it sets the Serial Number field to 1234 for every CRT task.

Then when the template utility is run and Serial Number field is left blank, then the value of 1234 will be used for all the tasks that are newly created.

Step 4: Click on Start Process, it will start copying the issue from template to target project

Step 5: Issues are copied to Target Project

Audit Log Process

Step 1: Click o Audit Log, here we will be able to see the logs

Field Arrangement Process

Step 1: Click on Field Arrangements

Step 2: This section is used for storing the custom fields order showing in the Contract Review Process

Weblink Update Process

Step 1: Click on Weblink Update

Step 2: Using this we can edit the existing weblink in the issues in the project or add the weblinks in the selected project issues.

Select Project: Project in which we need to add/update the weblinks in the issue.
Select Option: We need to choose either create or Edit weblink
Enter the weblink: We can add the weblink.
