Authorization in the User Suspension for Jira app ensures that only users with the correct permissions can manage user suspensions, safeguarding the process and maintaining compliance with organizational policies.
How Authorization works on User Suspension App ?
The app is typically designed for Jira administrators with specific administrative roles. Authorization ensures that only these users can access and use the app's features.
Administrators have the authority to configure settings, automate suspension tasks, and manually suspend user accounts. This control is granted based on their role within the Jira environment.
Follow the below steps to complete the Authentication process:
Step 1: Login to Jira -> Click on Apps -> Select User Suspension app.
Application will start and Authorization window will appear.
Step 2: Enter Email ID, API Token, Organization ID, and Bearer Token.
Step 3: After entering the details, Click on Validate.
If you enter the right credentials, a Success message pops up on the right side of the window.
If you enter the wrong credentials, an Error message pops up on the right side of the window.
Step 4: After successful validation start user suspension process using User Scanning and Scheduled Jobs tabs.
