Purpose of the document: Documenting KT activities from @Jay Karmarkar (Unlicensed)

Took a brief on tools and how they are being used in day-to-day activities, discussed about the following tools.

  • Script Runner

  • easyBI

  • Gantt Suite

Manually starting and stopping Jira QA instance on Server,

Steps to Stop:

  • Go to Services.

  • Select Atlassian Jira, click on stop the service. This will lead the instance to stop.

  • It can be verified in the Task Manager that Apache Server will be closed in memory and CPU.

Steps to Start:

  • Go to Program Files-Atlassian-Application Data-Jira-Plugins.

  • Delete cache .bundled-plugins file and .osgi-plugins file.

  • Go to Services.

  • Select Atlassian Jira, click on start the service.

  • It will start Apache Server we can see that in Task Manager.

Another project requirement is currently being discussed and below is the supporting requirement document

Prod Refresh

After regular frequency all the work from prod has to mirrored in qa instance that is we call as prod refresh and after every refresh SAML configuration has to be reconfigured.

In D drive Non-Program Files--QA SAML Configuration where every step was taken as screen shot and notepad file is available. So, we need to compare and change what is necessary like token certificate, field value as then only SSO will work properly for UCOP employees.
