Blueprint Creator for Jira Projects app creates a copy of the selected project template, which helps in simplifying your project management process. Here, we will provide the steps to create a blueprint of the selected project template, along with the UI design and requirements.

This application only works on Jira.

Steps Explanation

There are four processes to create a copy of the project template, which are shown below:

Step 1: Open the Blueprint Creator for Jira projects app. You will be redirected to the Authorization process.

Authorization

Step 2: Specify your Email and API token.

Step 3: Click on the Validate button.

Note: To generate a new API token, click here.

The following pop-up message appears showing that the API Token is valid!

Project Template Creation

Step 4: Click on the Project Template Creation process.

Step 5: Enter the Project Template Name and the Project Key.

Step 6: Select the Project Template Type as Business/Software/Service Desk.

Step 7: Select the specific template from the drop-down list. Let’s select Software -> SIMPLIFIED-AGILITY-SCRUM.

Step 8: Click on the Create Project Template button.

The following pop-up message appears showing that the Project template is Created successfully!

Step 9: To check the project, click on the Projects -> All Projects.

The created project will appear as:

Project Cloner

Step 10: Click on the Project Cloner process.

Step 11: Select the Project Template, Issue Type.

Step 12: Enter the New Project Name and New Project Key.

Step 13: Click on the Start Process button.

The following pop-up message appears showing that the Process of Project Cloning is Started!

The created clone project will also appear under the Projects section.

Audit Logs

The audit logs section shows the last 30 days logs.

Click on the Audit Log process to view the logs. The following screen appears:
