API token is required to access some applications. Once generated, copy and save that API token.
The steps to generate an API token are as follows:
Step 1: Login to the Atlassian Security section by clicking here.
The following screen appears:
Step 2: Click on the Create API token button.
Step 3: Specify any label name and click on the Create button.
The following dialog box with the new API token will appear:
Copy the above token by clicking on the Copy button.
Step 4: Click on the Close button.
The created tokens will appear in the table as shown below:
If not copied, the token cannot be opened from the table. You have to create a new API token.
