This user guide will help you to map the required fields in the app based on your operational requirement. This setup ensures that your teams using Jira have the latest updates from ServiceNow and vice-versa without the need for manual data entry, creating a streamlined and efficient work process across platforms.

ServiceNow Connector for Jira has the following use cases:

🎯 If a user creates an issue in Jira, the plugin will create the corresponding incident in ServiceNow.

🎯 It syncs all values from Jira Issue to ServiceNow incident including component, reporter, assignee, custom fields, attachment, and comments based on the mapping of the fields.

🎯 If user updates incident in Jira, the plugin updates the same values in the ServiceNow.

🎯 It links the Jira issue key to the ServiceNow field and ServiceNow incident number to Jira Issue.

🎯 Users can easily track changes and sync between two different systems using this seamless integration.
