CSV User Importer Technical

1.Introduction:

This Atlassian Marketplace App can be used to create JIRA user in bulk by importing their details in a CSV file. Below is a screenshot of the plugin on Atlassian Marketplace.

2.Modules

1. Import Users- This module responsible to get CSV format file from users. 
   
   
2. Fields Mapping- The fields mapping modules helps to map user fields to default fiel names. 
   This mapping part will all to get user field position in csv table. 
   
   
3. Imported Users Status- This module shows the all imported users details. status will show the success or error for user creation process.

3. Process Flow Description:

3.1 Steps for Import Users:

Step 1: Go to Administration page -> Click on Add-ons -> Go to CSV User Importer section and click on “Import Users”.

Step 2: Create CSV file with details of the users you want to upload and save it on your system.

Step 3: Choose the file from system and click on “Next” button.

3.2 Steps for Fields Mapping

Step 1: Map the JIRA user details with CSV file Header Name. click on “Create Users” button.

3.3 Steps for Imported Users Status: 

Step 1: Imported Users Status page will display status of user creation.

Step 6: Click on “User Management” button to see all newly created user names.
