Field Mapping shows the list of mappings available on ServiceNow Connector for Jira app.

To access the Field Mapping section, follow the given steps:

Step 2: Select the Project, Issue Type, Jira Field, Service Now Field Id, and Service Now Field Name Fields for below Jira fields.

Please refer the below image for complete mappings between the Jira field and the Service Now field. These are the “Mandatory” field mappings that are required to get the sync up and running.

Step 3: Click on the +Add’ button to save the mapping.

All the mappings for Jira fields which require individual value mappings will contains a view icon in the operations column. Click on this Icon to open the Value Transformation window and change the Values.

If the Jira field mapping has predefined multiple values, the plugin will prompt a Value Transformation window. Select the Jira Value Id and Jira Display Value display value, Jira field value, Sn Field, and SN field value as shown in the below image to map individual options and click on Save.

All the mappings for Jira fields which require individual value mappings will contains a view icon in the operations column. Use this icon to view or change the mappings, It will open the Value Transformation window.

Once the field mapping settings are complete, the ServiceNow Connector for Jira app will be ready to synchronize ServiceNow incidents and Jira issues.
