This section explains the troubleshooting errors that can arise while performing validation and deletion process using Bulk User Delete for Jira application.

1. Incorrect API token

If the entered API token is incorrect, the following error appears:

Tip

To prevent, recheck the copied API token or try to create a new API token.

2. Failed status after Bulk Delete

Admins can see the failed entries in status page after the deletion process.

  • You cannot delete the currently logged in user.

  • Cannot delete user because issues were reported by this person.

Reasons

  • You cannot delete your own account

  • You cannot delete user account if user is assigned to an issue.

Tip

Solutions

  • Unassign the issue from user you want to remove. Try deleting again.

3. Failed status after Bulk Delete by CSV

Admins can see the failed entries in status page after the deletion process.
