Privacy Policy - Cloud Apps
Overview
Empyra provides two types of Apps on the Atlassian Marketplace.
- Server Apps installed on the server instance of the Atlassian product hosted and managed by the client.
- Cloud Apps hosted by Empyra that are delivered via Atlassian Connect framework.
This policy applies to the Cloud Apps only.
Data Storage and Facilities
Empyra uses its own servers to host its cloud hosted add-on components. Empyra maintains and monitors all the infrastructure, logs for the server.
Stored Jira Data:
Unless specified bellow, Empyra do not store customer data in its servers. App data is generally stored in the Atlassian Cloud product that the Add-on is installed. The data stored in the Atlassian cloud product is covered by the Atlassian Cloud Policy which can be found here.
The servers where the apps are hosted has restricted access (only to developers and maintenance Engineers) and are not available to all Empyra employees.
Exceptions for Cloud Add-ons – Tag Tracker
Account Data:
Our Cloud App store data provided and generated by Atlassian, that are required for license validation, contract administration and communication with customer instance.
We store account id for the user who access the App in the Atlassain cloud product. Atlassian id data is stored in the database (Account id is used to identify the filters created by the users in the Add-on)
Email id information for the users are requested by the App to Atlassian cloud to send issue reports to the users. The Email information is used only to send reports when the session is active, the emails id’s of the users are not stored in the server where the App is hosted.
Error Logs data:
We will be storing any exceptions / errors the app encounters in the server where the App is hosted. We might use the error log data for troubleshooting the App. We promise we do not sell or share your data with third parties.
