The Tag Tracker app helps project managers and admins to identify tagged users in Jira issues who have not acted since being mentioned in a comment. This tool is essential for uncovering bottlenecks, enhancing team accountability, and streamlining project progress.
The app displays the list of tagged users two days after they are tagged.
Follow the steps below to keep projects on track by identifying tagged users in Jira issues:
Step 1: Log into Jira -> Select Manage apps → Click on Apps -> Select Tag Tracker Report app.
The Tag Tracker app window will appear.
Step 2: Apply the necessary filters to customize your report:
By default, All available options are selected for each filter.
To apply the filters:
Select Project from the dropdown.
Select Issue Types from the dropdown.
Select Time Elapsed from the dropdown.
Select The Users from the dropdown.
Step 3: Click Show Report to generate the report.
The report will display the tagged users' list with the number of days when they are tagged.
The report is generated only for tagged users, two days after they are tagged.
View the Report in Detail
Step 4: Click on the Detail View toggle button in the top-right corner of the report.
Detail View will display the issue keys, summaries, and tagged user details.
Step 5: Click on the Save as button to save the selected filters.
Step 6: Enter the Filter name -> Click on Save.
A Success message appears.
Step 7: Click on Saved Filters to view the list of saved filters.
Click on View Report to generate the report for saved filters.
Click on Delete to delete the saved filters.
Step 8: Click on the Export button to export the generated report to a CSV file.
A Success message appears and the report will be downloaded in CSV format.
