This guide offers step-by-step instructions to automate user suspension tasks, optimize license costs, or manage suspended inactive user accounts and ensures a smooth experience in our application features and functionalities.

This application is built for Jira Admins.

Users with no account activity for a certain period of time are referred to as inactive users.

This application provides two key features to suspend inactive usersuser accounts.

Search and Suspend the Inactive Users

You can search and suspend inactive users by using the User Scanning option. It has a built-in filtering option to search for inactive users based on the user Name or Email ID, JIRA Groups, and Last Active Date. After filtering the users, you can easily select them by clicking the checkboxes and suspend them by clicking the Suspend Selected Users button.

Automate the Suspension Process by Creating a Job

You can automate the suspension tasks using the Schedule Job option. First, you have to create the scheduled jobs by defining the user criteria such as JIRA Group, Last Active Date, Schedule Type, and Day/Date. Also, select Yes on the Auto Suspension field to create the job. It will automatically suspend the users periodically based on the defined criteria. You can also Edit, Delete, and View the jobs in the Scheduled Jobs tab.

By using this app, you can streamline the suspension process and reduce unnecessary license costs.

Tip

You can restore access for suspended user accounts at any time. 😁

To utilize these features, you must first go through a quick Validation Authorization process to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data user suspension activity.

Note

If you have lost or do not have an API token or and API key generate one before starting the validation process.
